OR Senators Introduce Residual Receipts Bill
Senators Wyden and Merkley introduced a stand alone residual receipts bill on September 16, 2009. The bill would allow the use of accumulated HUD controled Residual Receipts upon the transfer of Preservation properties. If approved, Residual Receipts funding could be used for rehabilitation, capitalizing replacement reserves, services that benefit tenants, or to offset some of the acquisition cost.
