Save the Date: May 17 and 18, 2010

The National Housing Conference will be holding an Affordable Housing Preservation Forum in Portland on May 17 and 18, 2010 (Please note the new date!). The MacArthur Foundation will be the event sponsor. The forum themes will be Urban and Rural Preservation Opportunities and Challenges and Preservation of Manufactured Home Parks. OHCS, NOAH and the city of Portland as MacArthur Foundation grantees, will be developing the event content and recruiting keynote speakers. We anticipate having several of our local elected officials and members of Oregon’s federal delegation participate. The NHC will be working with us as well to secure interesting speakers and will take advantage of their long established relationships with current HUD and Rural Development top level managers – more on that as it develops.

In the mean time, please circle your calendars for May 17 and 18th (Please note the new date!) and look for the official announcement soon.
